Listowel Mart will play host to a "Breeding for Profit" seminar organised by Irish Hereford Prime on Monday 21st February at 7.30pm. This information evening will be chaired by Justin McCarthy of the Irish Farmers Journal and the main guest speaker will be Dr. Padraig French from Teagasc, Moorepark. There will also be presentations from AIBP and Hereford Prime representatives. The live cattle display will focus on the suitability of Hereford cross dams in the suckler herd and also the performance of HEX cattle from the dairy herd. A specially reduced membership of €75 will be available to farmers wishing to join Hereford Prime on the night.
