Charleville Agricultural Show

The annual Charleville Agricultural Show was held on Saturday 28^th June 2025. There was an excellent display of almost 50 Herefords. Mr. Michael Bird from the Dunlever Herd in Co. Meath was the Hereford judge. Michael O’Keeffe had a great day out, with his August ’24 born bull, Gurteragh Superstar 1156 PH selected as the Munster Hereford Bull of the Year (sponsored by Irish Hereford Prime), Male Champion and finally, Supreme Overall Champion. Neil Twomey’s March ’24 born heifer, Dernaroy Vanessa PP, was the Female Champion and Reserve Supreme Champion, with Michael Barrett winning Munster Hereford Heifer of the Year (sponsored by the Irish Hereford Breed Society) with his October ’24 born heifer, Gurtaleen Inchvale Ladybird 2^nd.
