Next Gen Tips and Tricks

As we gear up for another exciting show season, we’d like to share some helpful tips and tricks to help our members feel confident and prepared before stepping into the ring! For each qualifier a score card will be allocated to each competitor. 

Each competitor will be scored on a varying of different criteria.

1. The ability to wash,clean, dry and present the animal - Field days can be great to get additional tips on how to present an animal for the ring.
2. General knowledge on the breed and the nutritional requirements in which assisted in the animals preparations for the show.
3. The overall ability to handle and present the animal in the ring.
4. Presentation of the competitor - Safety footwear, shirt, tie, white coat.

The level of questions asked will vary depending on the age group. However it is best advised to practice what you may like to say to the judge, on the day.
