The 199th Iverk show took place on Saturday 23rd August in Piltown Co Kilkenny,
Under glorious sunshine and high temperatures . The hereford classes were boosted in numbers with the new addition of the Bull of The Future competition sponsored by ABP with many Breeders double entering their bulls and bringing an extra Heifer for company .
The Hereford judging started off with Hereford bull born after 1/7/24 to 31/12/24 under the watchful eye of Mr James Thompson from the Ballyraggan herd In Rathvilly Co Carlow there was 18 bulls catalogued so a tough task in hand so much so they had to make the show ring bigger.

With Iverk being the last show on the south leinster circuit it brought to an end of the south leinster bull and Heifer of the year with Drumallas Napoleon taking first for Pat Jones and Dunsinane Milan from Glen Jacob taking 2nd place
In the Heifer Pat Rohan took 1st and 2nd with Listrolin Pretty Maid 154 and Listrolin Trudy 149 respectively.
